For one week only! Innovative learning!

I don't have any knowledge of Edinburgh University's recent "Innovative Learning Week", but I do have big reservations about the concept.

"‘Normal’ teaching will be suspended for this week"

 For me this is sending completely the wrong message.

I do have knowledge of "reading weeks" at other universities, and I am unimpressed. Every week is innovative learning/reading week.
